For the application of Medical Ministry as the right arm of evangelism in transforming lives back into the Image of God.
SULADS – NEMM
SULADS is a familiar word for brother or sister for the Manobo, Talaandig and Higaonon tribes in Mindanao. It started in 1969 when two young students from Mountain View College, dared to traverse the jungles of Bukidnon and lived with the lumads by teaching them on how to read and write. Later it was adopted by the Student Association as their outreach activity and finally it was considered as an extension program of the college.
This Literacy Program extended in the mountains of Northeastern Mindanao Mission where we are involved in supporting the needs of these volunteers, yet the need is still great in these Mission Schools because SULADS only exist by benevolent support from former SULADS volunteers, friends, donors and sponsors.
The SULADS Guesthouse is one of their needs here in the NEMM compound so they can have a place to stay when they come to Butuan City. It is still an ongoing project that needs support…

Disaster Response and Community Dev’t

According to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the Philippines was the fourth most accident prone country in the world. The two institutions arrived at this conclusion after finding out that some 5,809,986 Filipinos were killed or injured as a result of disasters or man-made calamities over a ten-year period (1992-2001).
NEMM ADRA has to build up and maintain at least Five Hundred Thousand Pesos fund ready for any emergency that will occur in the region as Mega Disaster Response Fund.
To be able to support Community Development Projects in the territory of Northeastern Mindanao Mission.
