November 1-3, 2013.\u00a0 The Mangagoy Adventist Youth conducted a spiritual retreat for the purpose of reviving<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>, reforming and developing the youths\u2019 spiritual growth.\u00a0 It was held in Barcelona, Lingig, Surigao del<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Sur, Philippines.\u00a0 The theme of the event was \u201cThe Power of God\u2019s Word in my Life.\u201d<\/p>\n

This event was organized by Danilo A\u00f1os and assisted by Darlene Joy Loropan, Eugelen Oddyssey<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Cubelo, Erwin Melecio, Jericho Dello Jr., Annie Grace Melecio and Jessa Dello.\u00a0 They sacrificed their time and combined their efforts to have a meaningful spiritual retreat.
\nThe youths experienced difficulties in raising funds but the church members of Mangagoy SDA Church were very gracious to support the needs of the Youth.\u00a0 On their way to the venue one of the tires of the vehicle explodes, but God kept them safe<\/p>\n

Elder Felicito Pagpaguitan \u2013 one of the church elders was the speaker of the vesper program and Pastor Samuel Frigillano was the divine worship speaker.\u00a0 In the afternoon, Bro. Edison Villarente and Bro. Charlie Bagnol gave lectures about the Spirit of Prophecy and their application to our modern society<\/p>\n

During the last day of the retreat, the youth had a special activity called Heaven or Hell.\u00a0 This activity helps them understand the importance of “choice.”<\/p>\n

Finally, the youth went swimming and enjoy fellowshipping with each other.\u00a0 They returned to their respective homes full of enthusiasm that fosters a closer relationship with the Savior.<\/p>\n
