{"id":1127,"date":"2014-06-06T07:00:31","date_gmt":"2014-06-05T23:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nemmadventist.org\/?p=1127"},"modified":"2014-06-05T16:26:32","modified_gmt":"2014-06-05T08:26:32","slug":"remember-your-creator-in-your-youth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.nemmadventist.org\/?p=1127","title":{"rendered":"Remember your Creator in your Youth"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them. \u00a0Eccl. 12:1<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I wish I could portray the beauty of the Christian life. \u00a0Beginning in the morning of life, controlled by the laws of nature and of God, the Christian moves steadily onward and upward, daily drawing nearer his heavenly home, where <span id=\"c34e56b7-182f-4728-9388-2f5a1c0c61c1\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">await<\/span> for him a crown of life, and a new name, &#8220;which no man knoweth saving <span id=\"8198bf49-e25d-4be9-80e6-f98112202b64\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">him<\/span> that receiveth it.&#8221; Constantly he grows in happiness, in holiness, in usefulness. \u00a0The progress of each year exceeds that of the past year.<\/p>\n<p>God has given the youth a ladder to climb, a ladder that reaches from earth to heaven. \u00a0Above this ladder is God, and on every round fall the bright beams of his glory. \u00a0He is watching those who are climbing, ready, when the grasp relaxes and the steps falter, to send help. \u00a0Yes, tell it in words full of cheer, that no one who perserveringly climbs the ladder will fail of gaiing an entrance into the heavenly city.<\/p>\n<p>Angels of God, that ascend and descend the ladder that Jacob saw in <span id=\"bc282960-620f-47b9-9f35-b6b90eb2c2b4\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">vision<\/span>, will help every soul who will climb even to the highest heaven. \u00a0They are guarding the people of God and watching how we every step is taken. \u00a0Those who climb the shining way will be rewarded; they will enter into the joy of their Lord.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Early piety ensures to its possessor the full enjoyment of all that makes life happy. . . . Those who wait until the span of life is almost ended before they seek God, lose a life of pure, elevated happiness&#8211;happiness that never comes in pursuit of the pleasures that this life affords.
