and of the people there was none with me.\u00a0 Isaiah 63:3<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Through childhood, youth, and manhood, Jesus walked alone.\u00a0 In His purity and His faithfulness, He trod the winepress alone, and of the people there was none with Him.\u00a0 He carried the awful weight of responsibility for the salvation of men.\u00a0 He knew that unless there was a decided change in the principles and purposes of the human race, all would be lost.\u00a0 This was the burden of His soul, and none could appreciate the weight that rested upon Him. &#8211; (AG 163.2)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Throughout His <span id=\"00f86417-b03e-403b-a560-299d7f2b8b53\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">life His<\/span> mother and His brothers did not comprehend His mission.\u00a0 Even His disciples did not understand Him.\u00a0 He had dwelt in eternal light, as one with God, but His life on earth must be spent in solitude.\u00a0 As one with us, He must bear the burden of our guilt and woe.\u00a0 The Sinless One must feel the shame of sin.\u00a0 The peace lover with dwell with strife, the truth must abide with falsehood, purity with vileness.\u00a0 Every sin, every discord, every defiling lust that transgression had brought, was torture to His spirit. &#8211; (AG 163.3)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Alone He must tread the path; alone He must bear the burden.\u00a0 Upon Him who had laid off His glory and accepted the weakness of humanity the redemption of the world must rest.\u00a0 He saw and felt it all, but His purpose remained steadfast.\u00a0 Upon His arm depended the salvation of the fallen race, and He reached out His hand to grasp the hand of Omnipotent love. &#8211; (AG 163.4)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The loneliness of Christ, separated from the heavenly courts, living the life of humanity, <span id=\"7748a982-bb77-41bd-bf35-99b75d8e209c\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">was never understood<\/span> or appreciated by the disciples as it should have been<span id=\"c8134e8a-6e6a-4728-849d-4089d2790a3f\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">\u2026<\/span>When Jesus was no longer with them,<span id=\"a1e0c61d-68c9-4a89-b7db-c29bd66bf62f\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\"> \u2026<\/span>they began to see how they might have shown Him attentions that would have brought gladness to His heart\u2026. &#8211; (AG 163.5)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The same want is evident in our world today.\u00a0 But few appreciate all that Christ is to them.\u00a0 If they did, the great love of Mary (Matthew 26:6-13) would be expressed, the anointing would be freely bestowed\u2026<span id=\"cd451066-0927-4894-b0f3-f9e9cc7c4c30\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">.<\/span>Nothing would be thought too costly to give <span id=\"978d6b4d-e327-4126-aaf6-b1a3d4565f5a\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">for<\/span> Christ, no self-denial or self-sacrifice too great to be endured for His sake. &#8211;
