{"id":1813,"date":"2020-05-08T16:42:59","date_gmt":"2020-05-08T08:42:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nemmadventist.org\/?p=1813"},"modified":"2020-05-08T16:44:29","modified_gmt":"2020-05-08T08:44:29","slug":"lockdown-to-new-beginning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nemmadventist.org\/?p=1813","title":{"rendered":"Lockdown to New Beginning"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"420\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nemmadventist.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/baptism.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1814\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nemmadventist.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/baptism.png 750w, https:\/\/www.nemmadventist.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/baptism-300x168.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Covid-19 challenged the program of the church.&nbsp; Last March 16, 2020 lockdown was announced in the country due to the pandemic coronavirus that hit our country.&nbsp; The scheduled evangelistic crusade was announced already in P7, Mat-I, Las Nieves Agusan del Norte.&nbsp; We wanted to cancel but the brethren would say never stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marcelita Lapuz, a member of the Patriota del Kristo, received Bible study from our layman, Vincent Pancho.&nbsp; She was also an avid listener of our Hope Radio program.&nbsp; She enjoyed their Bible study that\u2019s why she opted to share with their brethren in their church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last March 16-21, 2020 is scheduled for an evangelistic crusade even though it\u2019s lockdown already.&nbsp; Every day they have worship in their church and after their worship, 7:00-8:30 is scheduled for \u201cHealth and Gospel Seminar\u201d by our layman, Vincent Pancho and Bro. Edgar Budiongan, Elder of Pinanaan church. All members of their church attended the meeting.&nbsp; They have long hair and beard.&nbsp; I can sense the unusual atmosphere of the area.&nbsp; When they entered the church they left their slippers and shoes as a sign of reverence to their God.&nbsp; But visitors will just allow bringing shoes inside their church.&nbsp; They were known for their anting2.&nbsp; They can walk in the fire and also they will not be hit if their enemy would try to harm them.&nbsp; They will not go to the hospital because their patient would just go to their \u201cgrotto\u201d their cave and pray to their idols, then they will be healed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Almost all members attended the nightly meeting.&nbsp; Every night the topic is very exciting to them.&nbsp; We have to end early because of the curfew.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Friday night was a thrilling moment.&nbsp; Almost all of them wanted to be baptized.&nbsp; They surrendered their anting-anting.
