Mountain View College, Philippines \u2013 February 23, 2025<\/em> \u2013 The Northeastern Mindanao Mission (NEMM) Pathfinders joined thousands of young Adventists from across the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD) at the grand opening of the SSD-Wide Pathfinder Camporee 2025. Held at Mountain View College, the event, themed \u201cRebuild the Altar,\u201d brought together Pathfinders from 11 countries, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, for a week of spiritual renewal, leadership development, and fellowship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEMM\u2019s delegation of 379 enthusiastic campers, representing three elementary schools, one high school, and local church groups, was led by NEMM President Pastor Cirilo S. Baal and Education Director MG Marivic Saramosing. The leaders expressed their excitement for the spiritual growth and unity the camporee would foster among the young participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the opening ceremony, Pastor Jacinth Adap, SSD Treasurer, delivered a powerful keynote message, urging Pathfinders to embrace the camporee\u2019s mission of spiritual renewal. \u201cAn altar is a place where you meet God. Rebuilding the altar is a call to meet with Him,\u201d he said, encouraging the youth to deepen their relationship with God and become committed witnesses for Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme, \u201cRebuild the Altar,\u201dresonated deeply with the NEMM Pathfinders, inspiring them to reflect on their faith and commit to personal transformation. The camporee\u2019s activities were designed to cultivate regular communion with God, build an intimate relationship with Him, and strengthen the foundation of their faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the NEMM delegation, the event was more than just a gathering\u2014it was a call to spiritual revival and a reminder of their role in advancing God\u2019s work. As the week unfolded, the Pathfinders embraced the challenge to rebuild their own \u201caltars,\u201d fostering a renewed sense of purpose and unity within their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pr. Cirilo Baal expressed that \u201cthe SSD-Wide Pathfinder Camporee 2025 proved to be an event with great significance that captivated participants and observers alike to  continues to serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration for young Adventists, empowering them to lead lives of faith and service.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
