Butuan City Mission Academy Elementary department is located at Guingona Subdivision, Butuan City. It is run by the energetic members of the school board and the commitment of the faculty and staff that support the operation of the school of almost 200 enrollment this school year 2013-2014.
The school board has conceived a humanitarian project, a legacy of love to our children today and to the future generation-that is the renovation of the existing old building. This project is hoped to serve a greater number of students who have long wished to be accommodated by the school.
The dream for a new school building started last April when the school board decided to start the renovation despite of the meager funds with faith that God will provide. The old school building was demolished leaving behind the unforgettable memories. The renovation started that fascinates our hearts for at last the dilapidated building will soon be renewed.
However, this school-year is considered a challenge due to the apparent change of schedules. Our classes are greatly affected because there are only 4 classrooms available that could accommodate the pupils. With so much ideas and resolutions presented we come up to the half-day classes only. For the morning session we have the Kindergartens to Grade III. The Grades IV to VI are for the afternoon session.
With the present school funds, the project is beyond realization but with concerted efforts, we trust the Lord will make great things to happen for this cause.
We are looking forward that with God’s help and blessings through your generous support the new BCMA building will stand and shine brightly to keep preparing children for eternity, ‘til He comes. {Rosie S. Pangan, Principal}
