Northeastern Mindanao Mission (NEMM) Headquarter is located at Ba-an , Km 3, Butuan City. The building was erected in the year 1985 under the leadership of former Mission President, Pastor Josue Layon. From that year, most of the constituents believed that it is one of the biggest mission offices throughout Mindanao. Many years passed , other missions have surpassed its hugeness and immensity.
Seeing the building that is slowly dilapidating , the Administration finds it important to renovate its structure and surface. Motivated and challenged by the thought to be the host of next year 2011- LEAD Conference, everybody’s mind is prepared for it. Funds for the renovation will not be a big problem when everybody is positive to have a new building, a future edifice that is to be furnished with spacious rooms for offices, big dining room, guest rooms and a conference room.
The target of its completion according to Architect Ryan Bautista is on December 2010. President Pastor Solomon V. Mongaya is hoping to have it finished this October in time of the 4th Small Group Festival. He has the reason to hope for it because our Southern Asia – Pacific Division (SSD) President, Elder Alberto C. Gulfan Jr. will be coming to attend this festival.
However if time would not warrant , at least the building can provide some guest rooms for all guests during 2011-LEAD Conference. The visitors will be delegates from Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD), Administrators and Directors coming from South Philippine Union Conference (SPUC), All Missions / Conferences Administrators and Directors, Hospital and Educational institution administrators.
